NEXUS COMMERCE

International trading.
A practical commitment.

Nexus Commerce brings sourcing, direct trading and maritime coordination together for the supply of commodities and construction materials.

01

Who we are

Nexus Commerce F.B L.L.C-FZ is a Dubai-based international trading company focused on commodities and construction materials. Our business consists of sourcing, purchasing and selling materials for importers and distributors, while coordinating the commercial and operational requirements of each transaction. Our core portfolio covers cement in bulk and in 1.5 metric tonne big bags, clinker, petroleum coke, aggregates and bitumen.

This focus gives our website a clear purpose: to help professional buyers understand what we trade, how a requirement is evaluated and which information is needed to build a workable supply proposal. Nexus is a trading counterparty, not a directory of suppliers or a platform for paid introductions.

02

A direct role in the transaction

Our commercial model is based on buying and reselling goods in our own name. We engage with supply sources, define the basis of purchase and prepare a corresponding offer for the buyer. Sourcing, negotiation, market development and logistics coordination support that trading activity rather than replacing it.

The scope of each transaction is set out in the offer and contract. Product specifications, quantity tolerances, delivery terms, payment arrangements and documentation need to be understood before an order is confirmed. Our aim is to make those elements consistent, so that a commercially attractive proposal is also operationally realistic. No generic website statement replaces the specific commitments accepted in a signed agreement.

03

A focused product portfolio

Cement is offered in two core supply formats: bulk and 1.5 MT big bags. The choice depends on the receiving infrastructure, handling arrangements and the buyer’s distribution model. Clinker and petroleum coke address different requirements within the cement supply chain: one as an input for cement production, the other as an industrial fuel where suitable for the receiving plant.

Aggregates and bitumen broaden the portfolio toward construction and road infrastructure supply. Each family has its own technical language, packaging constraints and transport considerations. We therefore treat a request for clinker differently from a request for bagged cement or bitumen. The product pages explain the parameters to review without presenting unverified grades or laboratory results as guaranteed stock.

04

Dubai base, Mediterranean priorities

Our company is based in Dubai, while our current sourcing priorities are Tunisia and Türkiye. Our commercial development focuses on Italy, Malta, France, Croatia, Spain and Libya. These are priority markets, not a claim that we maintain offices, terminals or a continuous shipping service in each country.

The origin and destination of a proposal are selected around the actual requirement. Product availability must be considered alongside access to a suitable loading port, feasible shipment size, freight options and receiving capabilities. We evaluate a supply route as a combination of these factors. Listing an origin on this website does not imply that every product is permanently available there.

05

Execution starts before the order

A useful enquiry identifies more than the product name. It explains the required specification, quantity, destination, packaging, shipment window and preferred delivery basis. Where information is missing, we seek clarification before presenting a proposal as firm. This avoids building an offer around assumptions that cannot be met at the receiving end.

For maritime cargo, the preparation may include reviewing vessel compatibility, loading and discharge arrangements, cargo readiness, storage and documentary requirements. The parties responsible for each activity are identified according to the agreed contract. Nexus coordinates these interfaces, but does not present itself as the owner of the vessel, the port operator or the manufacturer.

06

Technical clarity and documentation

Product suitability is assessed against the buyer’s specification and the documentation of the selected producer. A commercial product description is not a substitute for a technical data sheet, a batch analysis or any conformity document required for the destination. When an independent inspection is requested, its scope, timing, sampling basis and commercial allocation need to be agreed in advance.

We distinguish between documents used to evaluate a supply option and documents issued for the actual shipment. Certificates, origin documents and transport documents must relate to the relevant material and transaction. Our website deliberately avoids invented test values, blanket certifications and unverified claims about regulatory compliance.

07

Sourcing beyond the standard portfolio

Importers and distributors may need a construction material that is not listed in our core range. We can review those enquiries as tailored sourcing projects. A drawing, technical specification, intended use or reference product gives us a more precise basis for identifying possible manufacturers and comparing alternatives.

Our evaluation considers the product itself, the proposed order size, packaging, lead time, commercial conditions and transport to the destination. Sourcing is not a promise that any request can be fulfilled. It is a structured process for identifying a suitable option and deciding whether a direct trading transaction can be arranged on acceptable terms.

08

Relationships built on realistic commitments

We approach commercial relationships with a preference for clarity, responsiveness and continuity. A competitive price matters, but it must be considered together with confirmed specifications, availability and a feasible shipment plan. Our objective is to identify issues early, keep the relevant parties informed and maintain a clear record of the agreed requirements.

For repeat business, understanding a customer’s purchasing cycle, local handling constraints and distribution needs provides a stronger basis for planning future supply. The same principle applies to our relationships with producers and service providers: practical information and realistic commitments support better coordination than unsupported promises. That is the role Nexus aims to fulfil as a long-term international trading partner.

09

Built for importers and distributors

An importer needs more than a list of available products. A proposed supply must fit the way the business receives cargo, holds stock and serves its own customers. Nexus brings that commercial perspective into the sourcing conversation: the required specification, the size of a practical shipment, the preferred presentation and the information needed before the buyer can commit.

For a distributor, a recurring programme may be more useful than a one-off opportunity. We can discuss successive requirements, preferred shipment periods and the balance between product availability and storage capacity. Each order is still confirmed on its own terms; a planning discussion does not create an unqualified promise of future stock or a fixed freight rate.

10

One commercial discussion, several operational workstreams

Our involvement brings together purchasing, sales, sourcing and logistics coordination. A change to the product specification can affect the producer selection. A change to the packaging can affect handling. A revised destination can change the transport solution. Keeping these decisions connected is central to our role as a trader.

Nexus coordinates with the parties responsible for the relevant stage, rather than presenting every service as an activity performed with its own equipment. Manufacturers make the materials; carriers and terminal operators perform the contracted transport and handling. Our offer identifies what Nexus supplies and coordinates, and where another party's confirmation is needed. This gives the buyer a clearer basis for evaluating the whole transaction.

11

Commercial development and market access

Beyond a single shipment, we discuss how producers and buyers can develop workable supply relationships. This can include understanding a distributor's product range, reviewing an alternative source, structuring a new purchasing requirement or supporting negotiations around a proposed market entry.

This work stays connected to tangible trading needs. We do not present Nexus as a paid introduction platform. Where a sourcing project moves forward, the purchasing and resale arrangements, the responsibilities of the parties and any separately agreed advisory work are made explicit. The objective is a supply relationship that can be executed, not simply an exchange of contacts.

12

A clear starting point for a new relationship

The first discussion can begin with a short brief: product, quantity, destination and timing. Technical documents or a previous purchasing specification can then clarify what must remain unchanged and where alternatives are acceptable. Buyers do not need to disclose confidential customer lists or an entire purchasing programme to open that discussion.

In return, the next stage should make the proposal easier to evaluate: product identity, proposed origin, supply format, commercial basis and points still awaiting confirmation. Our product pages and buyer guides explain the information we ask for, so that a new enquiry starts with a shared understanding of the task.
