Tunisia and Türkiye: sourcing priorities
Nexus focuses its sourcing activity on Tunisia and Türkiye. The product, producer, loading port and document requirements are evaluated together for each proposal. A country of sourcing is not a substitute for identifying the actual producer or confirming the origin of a particular cargo.
Alternative origins may be reviewed for a specific requirement. This is particularly important where the requested product, grade or shipment conditions do not match the initial sourcing option. Final origin and availability are stated in the commercial offer.
Six priority destination markets
Italy, Malta, France, Croatia, Spain and Libya form the current geographic focus of our commercial development. Our primary audience is importers and distributors purchasing commodities and construction materials for their local supply chains.
These country references describe our target markets. They do not claim market share, local offices, named customers or completed shipment volumes. Enquiries from other destinations can be reviewed on their commercial and operational merits.
The receiving market shapes the proposal
The same product description can involve different receiving arrangements from one market to another. Port restrictions, local storage, bag-handling equipment, documentation and the buyer’s distribution model need to be understood before a firm proposal is prepared.
We ask importers to identify any destination-specific requirements at enquiry stage. This allows the source, product and shipping proposal to be evaluated against the actual import and receiving conditions, rather than against a generic country description.
A sourcing strategy, not a list of guaranteed routes
Tunisia and Türkiye are the main origins around which we develop sourcing enquiries. Italy, Malta, France, Croatia, Spain and Libya are the priority destinations discussed with buyers. A country appearing here does not mean that every material is available from that origin or that a shipment has already been executed to every port.
For a new route, Nexus reviews the requested product, the available source and the proposed receiving arrangements together. The commercial scope is built from that enquiry rather than from a blanket promise of supply throughout a region.
The importer defines the receiving requirements
Destination is more than a country name. Specify the port or terminal, the delivery format and any documentary or product approval requirements set by your organisation. Where a competent local adviser or authority must confirm a requirement, raise that point before purchase confirmation.
