NEXUS COMMERCE

Materials that serve
industrial supply chains.

Our direct customers are primarily importers and distributors. The product portfolio is designed around the construction, cement and infrastructure requirements they serve.

01

Construction materials distribution

Cement and aggregates can be reviewed around the importer’s local handling and sales model. Bulk reception, bag storage, customer order sizes and onward distribution affect the appropriate supply format.

Nexus considers the commercial requirement and the physical receiving arrangement together. Tailored sourcing can extend the discussion to other construction materials when a clear specification is available.

02

Cement production and grinding

Clinker and fuel-grade petroleum coke address distinct needs in the cement production chain. Procurement should be based on the receiving plant’s technical requirements, supported by the appropriate producer analyses and agreed sampling procedures.

Our role is to develop the supply and trading proposal and coordinate the agreed operational interfaces. We do not replace the plant’s technical validation of raw materials or fuels.

03

Roads and infrastructure

Bitumen and aggregates can be evaluated for buyers supplying road and infrastructure projects. The project specification should define the required binder grade, aggregate grading and relevant performance or testing criteria.

Packaging, receiving facilities and shipment timing must support that specification. Nexus reviews the product and logistics as one supply requirement, without claiming that every grade is approved for every project.

04

Concrete and related materials

Cement and aggregates are relevant to concrete supply chains, but their suitability depends on the intended mix and project requirements. The buyer should define the necessary cement characteristics and aggregate properties before procurement.

We support the sourcing and commercial process. Mix design, structural suitability and final technical acceptance remain matters for the responsible qualified parties.

05

Different buyers, different purchasing briefs

A distributor buying for onward sale needs to align packaging and stock planning with its customer base. A grinding plant reviews clinker against its production requirements. An industrial buyer of petcoke sets the acceptable fuel specification. A road-materials buyer needs the grade and approval criteria relevant to the intended works.

Nexus uses these distinctions to frame enquiries. The same product name can describe very different commercial needs, so the discussion includes who receives the material, how it will be used and which documents support acceptance. We do not assume that one offer is suitable for all applications.

06

From a first cargo to recurring procurement

For a first purchase, describe the technical approval process and the practical limits of the receiving operation. For subsequent requirements, identify what remains constant and which elements may change: source, quantity, shipment period or packaging.

This allows sourcing, purchasing and logistics coordination to be discussed as one programme while each order remains separately confirmed. Importers and distributors remain our principal commercial audience, with industrial applications helping determine the specification of the materials they buy.
